Homeschool Class

In our Readers & Leaders homeschool class, we use a unique blend of Montessori and Orton-Gillingham methodologies. We emphasize structured literacy and multi-sensory math, which are helpful approaches for all students yet essential for some. We have park time and optional monthly family field trips. The children have the opportunity to socialize, have fun while learning, and participate in academic games and activities in a supportive and nurturing environment.  

Our CEO is a credentialed Reading Specialist (RLLS) with a Master's degree in Literacy and Reading Education, who is also a homeschooling mom. Her goal is to ensure foundational reading skills, such as phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and proper letter formation, are at the heart of our instruction. The curriculums used to enhance classroom instruction are evidence-based and/or research-based, and effective.
