Reading Teacher-
part time
Must be available in-person on Mondays and Fridays from approx. 3:15pm-6:30pm., in Oceanside, CA.
Qualifications:
- Teaching credential and
- Master's degree and/or
- Structured Literacy/Orton-Gillingham training.
Pay range: $30-$33 per hour,

Reading Teacher Position – Reading Reach Literacy Center – Oceanside, CA
Reading Reach Literacy Center is seeking a qualified and dedicated Reading Tutor to provide individualized, structured literacy instruction to students in grades K–8. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with dyslexia and other reading challenges and will be committed to fostering academic growth and confidence in struggling readers.
Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one reading and spelling instruction using structured literacy methods
Implement Orton-Gillingham based strategies and multisensory techniques
Assess student progress and maintain accurate instructional records
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress
Prepare lesson plans and materials tailored to individual student needs
Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Master's degree required,
Prior experience working with students who have reading difficulties or dyslexia strongly preferred.
Training in Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable structured literacy approaches desirable.
Dependable, professional, and committed to student success
Compensation and Schedule:
Part-time position (afternoons, Monday/Friday 3:30-6:30pm)
Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
Benefits available after 90 days.

Substitute Tutor
Substitute tutors must be available in the afternoons from approx. 2:30pm-6:30pm, on an occasional basis, as needed.
Substitute tutors will work with students in one-on-one and/or small-group settings at our literacy center in Oceanside, when a lead tutor is unavailable.
Qualifications:
- Teaching Credential and
- Bachelor's degree and/or
- Structured literacy/Orton-Gillingham training
This position requires live scan fingerprints and in-house training (paid).
Pay range: $27-28 per hour
Positions available: 1
Math Instructor - part time
Math tutors must be available 2-3 afternoons per week, from approx. 2:30pm-6:30pm.
Tutors will work with students in a one-on-one setting, at our literacy center in Oceanside.
Qualifications:
- Teaching credential and/or
- Bachelor's degree and/or
- Multisensory math training.
This position requires live scan fingerprints and in-house training (paid).
Pay range: $28-$30 per hour
